This post is long overdue.

It’s nothing special.

But the earlier I get this done, the better.

I am working on my personal brand this year.

Now, I’m nobody special.

But I am trying to build a massive business.

Besides, I listen to too much Gary Vee not to take advantage of the current economic climate.

I’ll be doing a deep dive into his content distribution model.  I’m sure it is going to translate for SEO.  Anticipate a content piece on that via GSP.

For now though, it’s kinda just a matter of pride.

Googling Myself

This website doesn’t show up on the first page of Google for “Zach Bradshaw.”

Yet.

There’s a former University of Virginia linebacker who dominates the first page.  He has profiles on ESPN, Twitter, and scouting sites.  Most of these pages are on strong, authoritative websites that search engines trust.  He seems to be fairly popular.

At first, I couldn’t get the “.com” version of this site.  Someone already owned it.  They probably expected this guy to go pro.

If so, ZachBradshaw.com might have been worth a few thousand bucks.

But that didn’t happen.

I’ve owned it for a couple years now.

Still, this is one dinky site.

Yes, I am the Zach Bradshaw most likely to become famous.

Audacious, but true.

I’ve written tons of viral content.  I’m pretty sure my words have been seen by millions of eyeballs online.

Too bad, so sad:

All of that came as a freelance ghostwriter.

Yet the winds of change have come.  I’ve put myself up to a 365-day content challenge.  Not all of it that will be blog posts.  But there certainly will be a lot of them.  I’ve always been a long-winded guy.

Now, I’m going to use that to my advantage.

Right now, my LinkedIn profile is the only web property competing on the first page.

I just searched for “zach bradshaw” on Google.  I didn’t find this website on the first ten pages of search results.  That means over 100 different webpages show up before any page on this site.

There are various things I could do to change that.  For example, I could add some basic optimization to the home page and probably land on the top five pages.  I am the best SEO expert in North Carolina, after all.

Ultimately though, I need more than that to get where I want to be.

This post will make a big difference.

Official Zach Bradshaw Accounts

This is going to look like spam.

That’s because it’s mostly for Google.

If you’d like to follow me, please do so.  Every single one of these accounts should see some activity by the end of the year.

But again, this ugly list (and shallow post) are for search engine optimization purposes.

Sorry if you thought this post was for you.

😅😁😜

Zach Bradshaw Across the Web:

Wow, the “official” makes it look especially dumb.

SO glad I’m doing this early.

I guess I’ll just have to live up to it.

If you’re reading this.  Remember the point.

I just want Google and other search engines to know:

All humans:

Thanks for bearing with me.

All search engines:

Do your job.

You can expect unique content across each of the platforms above.

Over the next year, I’ll be putting my name on a lot of things online.

I’ll update this post as I add more platforms as well.

Stay tuned to see how things go.

Until next time…

Thanks for reading!
