There goes my undefeated season.
๐๐๐
With back to back weeks with broken streaks, it’d be just about impossible to call this one a win.
I might have gotten a lot done.
But I didn’t get the right things done.
A lot of working while watching protests this week.
๐๐๐
Not to mention MASSIVE progress for clients.
Maybe not an L on my week overall but certainly on my 2020 Content Challenge.
It was so bad I even changed the name on last week’s post.

Fourth Quarter of the Fifth Game
No overtime needed.
We lost this one in regulation.
And I guess we got decimated.
To be honest, we kinda’ went down without a fight.
At least, I let my content streak die knowingly.ย Unlike my breakdown last week, I actually recognized that I hadn’t published anything new on Tuesday of this week.ย I started to look for something to update.
Then, I decided my sleep was more important.
That probably wasn’t the most unwise decision.
For the last few years, summer has been the season I’m most successful at becoming more of a morning person and less of a night owl.
This one looks to be no different.
So while I could be doing better on my 2020 goals, my 30-year goals aren’t suffering for it.
Not to mention, all this upheaval is shifting some of my priorities.ย It looks like the Coronavirus and everything else that is happening in the United States might be providing some once in a lifetime opportunities.ย I don’t intend to miss them.
After all, we might be lucky to have one more solid ten-year run of wealth building at the rate we’re going.
They’re trying to tear the world down.
I think the real builders have to take this last chance to create some of the meaning.

Despite the missed day, it was still a relatively average week.
Obviously, credit cards are still coming non stop.
Jesse Lee Peterson‘s page is inching closer and closer to completion.ย And when that’s done, many of my Heroes and Favorites are going to grow by leaps and bounds.ย Once the templates for This Site are done, I’llย really be able to let my team lose on my projects.
Then it’s game over.
So even though this one goes down as a loss, I’m HYPE for the rest of the season.
Now all that’s left is to review the week.

The Week Ahead
After last week:
My weekly content streak now is up to 4 days (begun May 27, 2020).
My longest streak so far was 157 days earlier in my 2020 Content Challenge, broken in Week 21.
Based on scheduling, I’m already set to extend that for 2 more.
So why did we lose in May?
It’s tied going into overtime.ย But we saw this one comes earlier in the game.
I’m actually glad we’re starting off the season going “down to the wire.”
After all, we can’t escape the ones we already see coming down the road.
