This might have been our last bad quarter of the whole season.

It hurt a little bit, as this entire game has.

But that seems like it was all for the best.

At least, we have the opportunity to make that the reality.

Looking back, we’ll be able to say this butt-kicking-ova’-week was a true turning point—that is, if we are indeed able to turn it all around from here.

🤔❓🤞

I’d bet on it.

Fourth Quarter of the Sixth Game

This was not a pretty game.

It was a massacre.

I dropped my content streak and failed to pick it back up again.  And yet, my 2020 Content Challenge marches on.  Even without any real effort or hours from me, This Site has continued to expand by four pages per week for six solid months.

Meanwhile, my marketing company‘s organic keyword report looks like:

I can look back at the first half of the season and call it a success.

It wasn’t all pretty.  There were several hard lessons.  And there may even be a few more left waiting in the remaining games.

But guess what?

Week six is the trade deadline.

The front office has been able to make several moves to help ensure we remain title favorites.

  1. Staff Upgrades – Greensboro SEO Pro now has real employees.  😁
  2. Tech Upgrades – On track for video to make a big comeback soon.

If the real estate market wants to go ahead and capitulate, we might make some stadium updates soon too.

🏢😍📈

In July, things are going to move fast.  From there, I expect to pick up momentum for the next 18-24 months straight.

I have so many Brands in my head and on my heart.

Now I’m finally developing the breathing room to start pushing them all forward at once.

Yup, time to take over the world.

😈🌎💪

There sure are a lot of Credit Cards.

Thank God for that.

😂🙏😂

Otherwise, I might not feel so confident about the first half of the season.  My Heroes and Favorites really carried the team, especially over the last few days.  We’re finally nearing the end of the list though.

I’m thankful for that as well.

That means two things:

  1. Time to start updating the whole lot of them.
  2. Time to get Insider’s Guide to Credit Cards cracking.

From there, it’s time to start leveraging my Web Design team to get Zach Bradshaw ready for the limelight.  Then, it’s on to what we do best: content marketing.

After all, this is one of my Content Challenges.

It could even be the last one I need.

What happens after this miserable game will decide.

Here’s the full play-by-play:

The Week Ahead

After last week:

My weekly content streak now is up to 0 days (begins today).

My longest streak so far was 157 days earlier in my 2020 Content Challenge, broken in Week 21.

Based on scheduling, I’m already set to extend that for 2 more.

So how bad did we lose in June?

I’d say the score was something like 42-13.  Embarrassing.

We were never really in the game.  We never really tried to battle back.  And we never made any adjustments.

It almost like the head coach was looking to teach his players a lesson.
