One of my favorite morning Affirmations:

“I yearn for the daily grind.”

The path to success isn’t glamorous.

It’s grueling and monotonous.

You have the same mandate everyday:

Take the next step.

Wherever you are along the journey, you must continue to move forward.

It’s not easy.  But it is worth it.

Obstacles will inevitably rise up.  That’s just a part of life.

Once you accept it, things get easier—not because the challenges go away but because your resistance to them does.

Embrace the hard parts.

You might even find joy in the grind

Third Quarter of the First Game

My favorite football games growing up were rain games.

I loved the mud and the dirt.

But more than that, I’ve always loved it when everyone else is complaining.  That’s when I do my best work.  I’m also great at analyzing circumstances and making adjustments.  Finally, I love me a good battle of wills.  The rain makes a mess out of things and distills a game down to who wants it most.

Yea, it’s slippery.

So what?

The real question is:

What are you going to do about it?

This first month of my 2020 Content Challenge is a lot like a rain game.  Sure, This Site still has content ready for weeks.  I could quickly and easily extend that for months if I wanted to.

That’s not where the focus is though.

I’ve got to grind my way through a massive amount of training for Local SEO Citations by the end of this month to stay on track with My 2020 Goals.

It’s not very exciting.  In fact, some might describe it as “soul sucking.”

But it’s the next step, a huge one for my web marketing services.

So I’ll continue to grind it out, rain, sleet, or shine.

Zach Bradshaw Publishing 1/12/20 – 1/18/20

One of the best things about a new year is clarity.

The last several weeks have been much the same in terms of what I needed to produce.

This week saw several more Credit Cards on ZachBradshaw.com.  Plus, I created several meaningful updates across other Favorites.  As is typical, a few of my Heroes got in on the update action as well.  I posted another Goal Setting post for myself yesterday as well.

Meanwhile, search rankings for Greensboro SEO Pro have started surging again.

By the time all of our citations posts are live, we’re likely to be a national players in the Local SEO industry.  That’s not really the main purpose.  But it’s a valuable secondary one.  Well worth the grind of a close, rainy game.

I’m still hanging on to a small lead in this challenge.  Hopefully, we’ll be able to open up a real lead this week.

Regardless, I’ll be here grinding out the next play until we blow this game open.

Here’s the full play-by-play:

The Week Ahead

After last week:

My weekly content streak now is up to 24 days (begun December 26th, 2019).

My longest streak so far was 96 days during my 2019 Daily Content Challenge.

Based on scheduling, I’m already set to extend that for 2 more.

So how close are we to winning January?

We just completed the third quarter and we’re still separated by the slimmest of margins.

The game is close.  But I feel confident because I know what it will take to get the dub…

Grind nonstop.  And that’s exactly what I plan to do.
