This week was a tough one.

Execution was nowhere near crisp enough.

Now, we’re down on the score.

Fortunately, I was able to get a few points on the board.

At least my content streak is still alive.

Despite getting smacked in the mouth,

First Quarter of the Second Game

This was a week of struggle.

At the same time, it probably marked a “turning point” in the season.

Sure it’s only the second game.  But it felt like the beginning of a major breakthrough.

I didn’t get as much content produced as most weeks in January.  I did a lot of running my mouth instead.  Some of that was a product of running my business.  I have people to manage and Sales to make.

But another big part of it came down to the need to make some decisions.

For that, I enlisted a little help.

On Wednesday of this week I called into the Jesse Lee Peterson radio show:

I got some good answers to some important questions.

Then, in vintage Zach Bradshaw style, I ruminated over the responses for the rest of the week.  It definitely hurt my Productivity.  But it was good.

It wasn’t immediate, but I got the clarity I was looking for.

And again, I was still able to keep my streak going.  Some of the content I created this week was rudimentary.  But it was created nonetheless.  And that’s what my 2020 Content Challenge is all about.

It doesn’t have to be pretty, it just has to get done.

Zach Bradshaw Publishing 2/2/20 – 2/8/20

Sadly, I didn’t create anything new for my marketing brand.

However, it doesn’t have to be new to be effective.  I’ve already got a variety of updates planned for Greensboro SEO Pro.  Some of them were put into place this week.  They may actually be more important than the SEO Citations training material that is at the top of my priority list.

Aside from that, it was a good week for my Heroes.  Several new ones got published.  And I was able to spend time refining my layouts.

Nothing special.  But I’m still in the game.

In the first half, that’s what really matters.

The Week Ahead

After last week:

My weekly content streak now is up to 45 days (begun December 26th, 2019).

My longest streak so far was 96 days during my 2019 Daily Content Challenge.

Based on scheduling, I’m already set to extend that for 2 more.

So are we already out of the game for February?

I wouldn’t bet it on it.  Remember, we have The Right Intangibles.

We relish the thought of a little early-season adversity.
