Maybe I was onto something in last week’s update.

Or perhaps this is a bit more than simple Deja Vu.

It very well could be an indication.

Welp.  My content streak is back down to single digits after an apathetic Monday and Tuesday of this past week.

💩

Both days I noticed the lack of content before bed.

💩💩

Both days I chose to shirk my responsibilities to myself.

💩💩💩

So instead of shrugging my shoulders and moving on like I did last week…

I think it’s time for a…

Hard Reset

Last week, I titled my update Relentless Restart.

But after this week, “Hard Reset” seems much more appropriate.

It’s been a few months since I did a serious evaluation the parameters of this challenge.

Last week I talked about making some changes starting next month.  That is still the plan.

But before that, I’ll take a break on my dedication to this challenge.

I’m not saying that I won’t publish new content everyday until July, but I’m not saying that I will either.  What I will do is evaluate how best to set myself up for success.  It’s important that I beat this challenge.  But it’s just as important that this challenge is helpful in my business and overall life.

I may even use the rest of June to get several weeks ahead on content, like I did to an extent with my videos over the last few months.

This is the few week without new marketing videos since at least March.

Fortunately, I have something like fifty ideas ready to go.

Unfortunately, I have allowed my mic issues to derail my video production completely.

That ends this week.

And yet, I still may not publish any new videos this week.  Instead, it may be that I schedule the mapping of all Favorites and Heroes on this site to drip out first.  Or, I could decide that it makes more sense to schedule out months in advance starting with July.

So this next two weeks:

Major hard reset on Zach’s Daily Content Challenge.

The current streak may live.

Or it may die.

But the goal is to make sure this challenge ultimately thrives.

Zach Bradshaw’s Content Updates 6/9/19 – 6/15/19

The last few weeks have seen a major quantity fall off.

Mic issues are no real excuse, though they have made a significant difference.

I believe both of my SEO and personal channels helped to keep me sane.

Letting the video production slip has been reflected in lower overall morale.

Still, the content challenge lives and it’s a major reason why my business life is the best it has ever been.

One way or another, I’m confident the morale will come back.

Seems like it will be sooner than later seeing as I’m starting making videos again this week.

Nothing special.

Progress is progress.  And maybe there’s a gem or two among this week’s developments.

My Marketing Agency did get a new service page after all.

Definitely laid some new foundations.

It’d be a lie to say that I met my standards for this week.

But there again, it’s time to reevaluate and reestablish those standards themselves.

Such is the Hero’s Journey.

You could say these last two weeks were the weeks Shogun Total War destroyed.

But they could also be two weeks I needed in a monotonous run of work that I finally got a short respite from.

I’m not sure I can actually burn out.  Nor am I sure than I can’t.

Hopefully, the stutter steps this month were productive in some way relating to the concept.

And of course, better the ball dropped on my own stuff than the ball dropped on my clients’ work.

Nonetheless, it’s about time to stop dropping balls altogether.

That’s why I’m looking for Daily Content Challenge V3 to do just that.

If you’re reading this, thanks for coming along for the ride.

Stay tuned.  It will get less bumpy, I promise.
