2026 Content Challenge Week 35:

✅✅✅✅✅✅✅

A new record for this year:

Two dozen days in a row with new content!

Of course, the 20-day and 3-week milestones aren’t anything to write home about.

Still, even short distances on the horse feel good.

Considering the massive gap in content production, I’ll definitely take it.

Not to mention, it’s been pretty meaningful so far.

What Got Done?

I got very close finishing my Work Ethic page—so close that there’s a good chance I finish it later today.

What’s more, I am edging closer and closer to a finalized working system for everything on This Site.  That bodes extremely well for the rest of this challenge (and those to follow).

I won’t get ahead of myself too much because I have a lot going on this week upcoming.  However, once I get through that I have a couple months of what should be smooth sailing riding until things are likely to get crazy in November.

Every day that goes by, I am getting more and more excited.

Aside from my own Brands, I actually got stuck in on some new client work.

It was good to get a reminder of how much fun learning can be.  WordPress isn’t always my favorite but the mid-tier difficulty stuff is usually pretty enjoyable.  I’ve got more of that this week, though I may choose to go ahead and knock it out today.

I’m definitely more motivated than I’ve been in a long while.  The only thing left is for my actions to catch up to my feelings.

Then, I can graduated back to high level discipline.

😁😁😁

Last Week Was the Week That…

We finally got to see Chelsea’s new attack in competitive play, and well…

🤯🤯🤯

The boys are COOKING.

On the other side of the pitch, Robert Sanchez seemingly played himself out of the squad, out of the club.

In comes Emi Martinez!

Chelsea’s new attack got off to an amazing start with 2 wins to start the season… 3-2 at fulham… 2-0 vs luton town

.. and in comes Emi Martinez

Now that’s the type of signing that might mean we’re true contenders.

Only time will tell.

As for Tar Heel football, they went to Ireland and avenged avenged last year’s blowout loss against TCU.  I missed the game.  But at 15–10, it sounded like the kind of game that speaks to my defensive sensibilities.

Maybe there’s a chance I actually enjoy some football this year.

😲😲😲

Wouldn’t that be crazy?!

Next, Carolina football got off to a decent start in ireland, avenging last year’s loss to TCU

In the UFC Umar Nurmagomedov got fraud checked by Song Yadong.

You absolutely love to see it.

😍😍😍

Anything to break the Eastern European vicegrip on the sport.

Aside from sport, the only item that really registered on my cultural radar is the ongoing Lindsay Clancey hysteria.  Kinda’ scary but not really anything I am keen to look into at the moment.  The only other thing that cropped up was another renaming stunt by Trump.  As far as that goes “played out” is an absolute understatement.

Just look at this clown:

FAR more importantly, I played RISK online for the first time in months.  Two wins.  One runner-up.  Still got it.  I may also be on the verge of setting a new turns record in Shogun Total War 2.  It’ll come down to the wire but there is definitely a chance.

Lastly, my sleep schedule is back to a reasonable (if not ideal) standard.

All things considered, I anticipate next week will be my best month of the year.

Content Streak

After last week:

My daily content streak is now up to 24 days (begun Week 32), which is the longest of my 2026 Content Challenge thus far.

Last year’s challenge started and ended with a 113 day streak.  My longest streak ever was during my 2024 Content Challenge.  It lasted 262 days, spanning from from Week 10 to Week 48.  In 2023, my longest streak was 62 days, from Week 8 to Week 16.  My longest streak during my 2022 Content Challenge reached 217 days, ending in Week 24.  My best during 2021’s Content Challenge was 67 days, from Week 14 to Week 23.  And my best in 2020 was 157 days in a row, which ended in Week 21.

The march toward a full 365 continues.  📈
