This week was a let down.
We put plenty of points on the board.
But we failed to seal the victory.
Too many mistakes.
Now we go to overtime.
Fresh off of our biggest beatdown of the season, do we have the heart needed to pull this one off?
The team’s steadily getting stronger but no new stars have emerged yet.
I’m having middling success playing as a Coach on the Field.
It’s fun.
But the work doesn’t always get done.
Fourth Quarter of the Seventh Game
This is the whole reason I started my Content Challenges in the first place.
It’s so much harder to me to “ship” content for My Brands than for clients.
It’s been that way since I started writing for a living.
When there is a deadline and someone is paying me, it gets done. When I try to set deadlines for my own work, it only holds about half the time.
Part of that comes down to perfectionism. Part of it comes down to my tendency to branch out to new ideas incessantly.
I should probably just skip to writing books.
Maybe I will.
First though, I have to get my local marketing machine firing on all cylinders. I’ll consider it perfected once I’m comfortable letting someone on my team publish content without checking it first.
Just thinking about it makes me feel a little anxious.
🥴😨🙃
Sounds scary.
However, I don’t have to get it perfect to make it out of this season as champions.
It almost looked like I was going to do it by myself earlier in the year. If I wanted to, I’m sure I still could. In fact, I’m tempted.
But for the sake of My Long-Term Goals, I have to move beyond being a Coach on the Field. From player-coach, I need to progress to President of Operations. Then, on to purely team ownership.
For the rest of the season, I’m going to try to leave my own heroics for the fourth quarter.
(Otherwise, my Red Pilled posts by come too late.)
First though, I’ve got to bail this one out in the extra period.
🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
You gotta’ do what you gotta’ do.

My 2020 Content Challenge is entering a new chapter.
Credit cards are dead. Long live Credit Cards!
This Site now has just about every American Express, Chase, Capital One, and Discover card out there. We might have missed a couple. We might also have a few listed that no longer exist. Especially since the world’s recent economic turmoil, many companies in the financial industry are shifting rapidly.
Nonetheless, we’ve lain the groundwork for a massive silo on ZachBradshaw.com and a whole new brand, Insider’s Guide to Credit Cards.
Plus, we still have plenty of cards to add from other brands like Citi and US Bank.
To top things off, my Gold Card page is nearly done. It’s completion will mark the first complete page of the silo and set us up to upgrade the quality of the content massively. Soon, all the placeholder text will be gone. From there, we might start making a splash in search engines.
And oh yeah, our marketing services just keep looking better and better.
😉

The Week Ahead
After last week:
My weekly content streak now is up to 1 days (begun July 25th, 2020).
My longest streak so far was 157 days earlier in my 2020 Content Challenge, broken in Week 21.
I don’t have anything scheduled to extend it.
So how close are we to winning July?
We failed to put this one away in regulation. Now, it comes down to one final period.
We’ve been hear before. So we know what it takes to win in overtime.
Now, it’s simply up to us to get the job done.
