2025 Content Challenge Week 7:

✅✅✅✅✅✅✅

Seven up.  Seven down.

That’s half way through the first quarter.

Once I publish this, I have a 50-day streak—of which I’ve only had seven or eight at most.

A few more weeks and I’ll have one of my top five longest ever.

Soon.

But I’m focused on taking it a day at a time.

What Got Done?

I put a massive amount of time updating my Candlestick Patterns topic on Playing Markets.

While these updates were pretty significant, I realized that I could have spent about a tenth of the time with a few hours spent in systematization.

😒😒😒

Moving that one to the top of the list!

Still, every improvement I make to existing content makes me even more excited (and impatient) for the bounce back in my rankings.  If it takes too much longer I’m going to begin making sacrifices to the algorithm.

Separately, I got serious about time tracking digitally for the first time this week.  I still prefer doing it in my Bullet Journal, because I can track a lot more in a very customized way.  But it can be a time sink within itself.  Meanwhile, time tracking on Monday.com is extremely easy, if still imperfect.  I think I’ll give it a serious run for at least the next month before I decide whether to commit to it or go back to my tried and true Habit Tracking system.

I also completed another of my gargantuan posts and SOP’d the crap out of some more wholesaling stuff.

Big BIG weeks coming up.

Last Week Was the Week That…

Pretty much only one good thing happened outside of work.

I made Mexican red rice for the first time and it was excellent.  Simple, yet great.

Chelsea took another, even worse loss to Brighton in the Premier League.

As if the 2–1 defeat wasn’t embarrassing enough, the Seagulls fed the Blues a 3–0 beatdown six days later.

Ooooooooh the meltdowns.

😂😂😂

Even worse, my Tar Heels lost by 20 to Clemson… to CLEMSON!!!

🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

I didn’t even see it but it would probably be the most memorable thing about this week.

Except:

This was the week Mamaw was hospitalized with asthma issues and spent several days at my mom’s house.

😭😭😭

NOT Cool.

Content Streak

After last week:

My daily content streak now is up to 42 days (begun Week 1), which includes my entire 2025 Content Challenge so far.

My longest streak ever was last year, during my 2024 Content Challenge.  It lasted 262 days, spanning from from Week 10 to Week 48.  In 2023, my longest streak was 62 days, from Week 8 to Week 16.  My longest streak during my 2022 Content Challenge reached 217 days, ending in Week 24.  My best during 2021’s Content Challenge was 67 days, from Week 14 to Week 23.  And my best in 2020 was 157 days in a row, which ended in Week 21.

The march toward a full 365 continues.  📈
