2022 Content Challenge Week 11:
✅✅✅
This week was a test… and I passed with flying colors.
🏆🏆🏆
It wasn’t necessarily easy and it certainly wasn’t perfect. However, I didn’t back down from the adversity.
So there’s no way I could classify this week as anything other than a W. A STRONG W.
💪💪💪
Despite the craziness, I still managed to put words on my Productivity page throughout the week. There were some days I barely squeaked by. But squeak by I did nonetheless. Plus, I did the usual thing sprinkling random Heroes and Favorites with content updates as well. At this point, it seems like there is basically nothing that can prevent me from making progress on This Site. I absolutely love it. I even made time for my big piece on Playing Markets. In fact, I’m probably only another week or two from finishing it up. That’s huge.
It’s feels like there is basically nothing that can stop me now.
Now, why did I say this week was a test?
Well, this was the week my house got shot up.
It’s still kind of hard to believe:
I was the victim of a drive-by shooting. Some fools put 30 shots through my kitchen while I was doing dishes!
😨😨😨
I’m pretty sure a few of them barely missed me. Clearly, someone upstairs is looking out for me.
🙏🙏🙏
Despite losing a whole day of work and having to change my routine, I still almost got 40 hours in. I also did a good job maintaining most of my habits, maintaining my general upward trajectory. This was still a top 5 week for 2022 across most measures. What’s more, I’m even more driven to make 2022 a legendary year now that the dust has settled.
Another positive:
I finally got to witness first hand just how powerful Credit Card Rewards can be.
Four nights free at a Hilton hotel for spending money I was going to spend anyway?
I’ll take it!
🙌🙌🙌
In less dramatic news:
This was also the week the Tar Heels took out the defending champs and number one seed, Baylor. That ties UNC with Duke for most number one seeds beaten in the NCCAA
🐏🐏🐏
Chelsea also strung together three wins in three competitions in a single week, defeating Newcastle, Lille, and Middlesbrough in the EPL, UCL, and FA Cup, respectively.
🔵🔵🔵
Looks like Kai Havertz is about ready to start living up to that transfer fee. If so, the competition better look out. 👀
